The undercoat of the calfskin has been sanded for a velvety feel. The skins have been mass-tanned. 

Braiding is a work of precision and patience, and the braids are intertwined exclusively by hand by qualified leatherworkers.

All the flower eyelets are crimped and then positioned by hand.

The many rivets are also assembled by hand to preserve a resolutely artisanal look.
